Floor Sanding Blogs
The floors were pine and this required an extra level of care as pine is a softwood
. Too much pressure could have damaged the surface.Working in a residential property meant we had to be sensitive to the homeowners and work quickly, causing as little mess as possible.
We sanded the floors using a three step process with dust-free machines. This ensured dust was not spread throughout the property, which can easily happen with a DIY sanding job.
Buffing and vacuuming the floor cleared up any excess dust and left the floor ready to lacquer.
The floors now look maintained and are more durable thanks to the lacquer.
The sheen on the floors also adds an overall look of quality to the property.
We provide virtually dust-free sanding with our continuous belt machinery with mobile extraction units, giving you a safer environment for your family.
