Please consider the following prices as guidelines. The costs of any project depend on several factors – and we take these into account when giving you a final quote. For example, the number of rooms to be restored will affect the costs per square metre – being reduced when more than one room is treated. The condition of the floor will also determine the amount of preparation time and finishing required – with the poorer the floor, the greater the increase in price. Floor Sanding Experts provide a complete wood floor sanding and restoration service. We always recommend that you choose the whole package provided by experts. For those confident enough to apply the finish of oil or lacquer themselves, we do offer a sanding only option. • Sanding only from £12.00 per m2
• Sanding and 3 coats of clear lacquer  from £15.00 per m2
• Extra coat of lacquer, hardwax, oil or stain from £4.00 per m2
• High traffic lacquer: = £2.00 per m2 per coat
• Sanding and 2 coats of hardwax oil  from £19.00 per m2
• Sanding and 3 coats of wood floor oil from £19.00 per m2
• Staining /dyeing from £4.00 per m2 per coat
• Lime washing / liming / whitening from £4.00 per m2 per coat
• Gap filling 1 = sawdust+resin from £4.00 per m2 (for gaps up to 5mm)
• Gap filling 2 = reclaimed wooden slivers from £10.00 per m2 (for gaps wider than 5mm)
• Cosmetic gap filling from £2.00 per m2 (filling small cracks, old cuts and nail holes etc.)
• Firebase re-stitch / concrete hearth removal between £200 – £250 (depending on size and type)
• Reclaimed pine floorboards changed from £18.00 per linear metre
• Stairs: sand and seal: from £39.00 to £65.00 per step (depending on condition and layers of paint)
• Carpet removal from £20.00 per room
• Carpet disposal from £80.00
• Furniture move: = £50.00 per room (we will not be held responsible for furniture placing, this service is only to enable us to work on the floor in its entirety)
• Additional labour from £25.00 per hour ( restoration and repairs etc.)

Maintaining services:

• Clean, buff and one coat of lacquer, hardwax or oil from £9.00 per m2
• Clean, buff and two coats of lacquer, hardwax or oil from £15.00 per m2
• Our minimal charge is currently £350.00
