What we did

We uplifted and disposed of any carpet from the working areas before we could treat the pine wood floors. Minor repair work was the carried out before sanding.

Resin was used to fill gaps and enhance the aesthetic appeal of the floor before the four coats of lacquer were applied.

The customer requested that the stairs only be painted white on the sides rather than fully covered.

During the floor restoration

The results

There are no signs of floor damage and the rooms we worked in are more inviting on the whole. Without the carpet and with the lacquer, the staircase will remain of a high quality for years to come.
