What was the job?

The Marist Schools in Sunninghill, Berkshire, are Catholic Day Schools for girls aged 2-18. The mahogany parquet flooring needed sanding in some corridors after being worn by the heavy footfall expected from a school.

Challenges

Floors in schools are prone to being scuffed and damaged as they see a lot of foot traffic from active children and teens. In order to treat the scratches caused by rocks in shoes or running through the corridors, we had to wait until there weren’t any students around.
