Sanding parquet floors in Essex
What was the job?
The owner of a residential in Woodford Green, Essex, required our services and we were happy to travel down.
Parquet flooring in the building was slightly worn and gaps had started to develop between the blocks.
We had to fix gaps before sanding could begin. The owner wished to keep the black lines along the hallway and we had to consider this before work.

What we did
We filled small gaps with resin to avoid refitting blocks where it was avoidable. This aided the sanding process.
After the standard three stage, dust-free sanding process, we ended with a coat of Osmo oil wax to preserve the quality work.
Because there was no major damage prior to work, the immediate appearance of the floor is not too different. However, without gaps and with wax, the blocks are stronger.
