Sanding wood floors in Ealing
What was the job?
We were called to a home in Ealing as several rooms in the house needed maintenance work for their floors.
Challenges
The biggest challenges were the size of the job and the furniture which was obstructing the floors.
We did not want to take too much time as that prevented the building serving as a family home but did not want to sacrifice quality of work.

What we did
After removing all furniture, we were able to fully assess the floors for damage. The work required was routine sanding for maintenance so there were no further delays.
Small gaps between boards were filled with resin and the floors cleared of debris before sanding was completed and lacquer was applied.
The results
There are no major changes to the floor but the colour is richer and the floors are more resistant to scuffs and scrapes. The owners already showed a level of care and continuing this should mean the wood has an extended lifespan.
