What was the job?
We journeyed to Farnham for a home which needed sanding work in three rooms.Challenges
Patches of the floors were more damaged than the rest and needed extra attention. We could not apply extra pressure to these areas as the floors would be uneven. Some boards were loose and could have damaged machines if left unattended.Lounge- 19.5 m2 (Oak floorboards with bevelled edge)
Reception- 11.2 m2
Entrance hall- 5.5 m2
How the floor looked before we started work
What we did
Some of the floors only required simple sanding, whereas we had to ensure all floorboards were safe and secure before beginning the three stage, dust free sanding process. After buffing the surfaces and vacuuming away excess, we were able to add a coat of base primer and three layers of lacquer.During the floor restoration

The floors are now level, meaning it is a safer home environment. The lacquer has added a slightly darker tone that reflects light well and creates a welcoming home.After we finished the job
