Sanding original wooden floors in Tottenham
What was the job?
The floors in a Tottenham home needed sanding and refinishing.
They had become worn over time and sanding was needed to restore them to their former glory.
The floor met with a hearth and there was no barrier. We had to be careful not to run over and damage the tile flooring.
Some aspects of the floor were more damaged than others and this meant paying careful attention to our work to create a uniform finish.

What we did
We assessed the floor and planned how we were going to avoid damaging other surfaces. The room is relatively small so needed care. Prior to lacquering, we buffed and vacuumed and excess to prevent dust ruining the sheen.
The floor was left lighter, with no signs of wear or residue from DIY work. We successfully avoided causing any damage to the hearth or adjoining room.
