Getting Rid of the Possible Floor Sanding and Varnishing Troubles

Floor Sanding MistakesTo play with your pets or just lie down, a carpet is very comfortable. But a properly cared for wood floor can impart a classy look to any room that no carpet can give. But when your shiny floor begins to get dull, the classy look will fade away, making it look messy and bland. Calling in a professional cleaner to restore the former shine to your floor, can be quite expensive. Here are a few tips to do away with the floor sanding and varnishing troubles and make your word floor shine still. A mixture of oil and vinegar will do the trick.

Preparing the oil-vinegar mixture

Vegetable oil and white vinegar can be found in any home. Mix the oil and vinegar in equal parts and transfer them into a pump spray bottle. Swirl the bottle every now and then to ensure that the mixture stays mixed.

Applying the mixture to the floor

Squirt a little of the mixture on the sanding wood floor and follow it up with a good rub with cotton rags. Even if you do it section by section, ensure that the entire floor is covered and the whole of the mixture is well rubbed in. Wipe away any solution left over the floor. Then buff the floor till the original shine is regained.
