Ways to have flooring finished with Osmo Hardwax Oil
Osmo Hardwax Oil is extremely popular amongst industry experts as the first choice for wooden floor finishing. It has 100% natural ingredients and a hard to wear finish that will last for much longer than other finishes and give your floors a gleaming look for decades. Here are some little known ways of applying Osmo Hardwax Oil to your floors.
Osmo Hardwax oil can be applied directly to the wood or on itself. If this is the first coating ensure that the surface is thoroughly clean. If there is any other coating, you may need to sand it off. No sanding is required between two coats of Osmo hardwax Oil.
Dip the tip of the floor bush in Osmo Hardwax Oil and dab it multiple times at a distance of 4-6 inches across a small floor area. First scrub across the grain and then along the grain to cover the area evenly until the brush runs dry. Lastly, feather stroke with the grain without lifting the brush to avoid leaving brush marks on the surface. Apply the second coat after the first coat is thoroughly dry. Light abrading of the first coat may be required if excessive oil has been applied.
