Domotex Middle East Popularity Grows
The popularity of the Domotex Middle East exhibition is only continuing to grow, with this year’s sixth edition of the premier trade fair of the entire region for all aspects of the flooring industry, including dust free floor sanding products, opening its doors yesterday and set to attract even more visitors than ever before.
Even despite both the economic slowdown in many countries in Europe and political unrest in much of the Arab world, the number of exhibitors remains undiminished from those of the previous event and the three-day show is even playing host to visitors from three new countries.
“We are happy with the number of exhibitors as the show did not shrink despite regional unrest and also new countries joined the exhibition this year” says Angela Schaschen, the Managing Director of the company that organised Domotex Middle East, Deutsche Messe Dubai Branch.
The exhibition attracts flooring professionals, high net worth individual buyers, wholesalers and retailers, project planner developers, decision makers from the construction industry, interior designers and architects. More than 130 exhibitors from as many as 30 different countries, including the United Kingdom, are taking part in the show, exhibiting a large variety of floor covering products including both hand made and machine woven carpets, rugs, parquet and other types of wooden flooring, plus marble, natural stone and many others. There will also be demonstrations such as “Sustainable Office Flooring Solutions” and “Get the Best Results from Your Tools, The How To Sessions,” which will be led by professionals from the United Kingdom’s Academy of Flooring Skills.
