Indian Flooring Fashions to Effect UK
Could flooring fashions in India be all set to begin to influence the trends in the United Kingdom as well? That is the prediction being made by experts as new styles begin to achieve greater popularity in India and overseas.
The New Indian Express is claiming that more and more people in India are becoming attracted to bright colouring in their flooring rather than the natural shades that have led to wooden flooring becoming so popular with many people in many different kinds of households.
The situation with flooring in India has not been dissimilar to that in the United Kingdom in the last few years in this respect. The fact that the situation does appear to be changing, with the market now leaning toward brighter colours for flooring than has been the case in the past, is what is leading many analysts and flooring experts to conclude that the flooring market in the United Kingdom is highly likely to end up going in the same direction.
It is not just the consumer market that is pushing for brighter colours; there are numerous reports that many interior designers are becoming bored and frustrated with having to stick to neutral colours and are itching to work with brighter and more colourful designs. Of course, if such a trend does occur that does not necessarily means a downturn in popularity for wood flooring, given that it can be painted if required after floor sanding.
