Swan Development Offers Great Wood Floors
Lovers of wooden flooring who are looking to buy new property might want to check out the houses on offer at the brand new Swan Hill development site in Kent in the United Kingdom. Wooden flooring is one of the cornerstones of the new homes, which are three and four bedroom houses both detached and semi-detached, and which look set to be hot property in the area following their recent unveiling.
In addition to the solid oak floors – that are very unlikely to be in need of any form of wood floor repairs for some decades to come – the homes also come with solid wood doors with chrome fittings, in addition to double glazed windows with solid wood frames, plus gas fired under-floor central heating on the ground floor, with radiators providing warmth upstairs.
The kitchens are also impressive with granite work surfaces, a range-style cooker and dishwashers and fridge freezers that come already completely integrated into the overall design. The back garden has already been turfed.
While wood floors are omnipresent in the hallways and dining rooms in particular, they are, perhaps predictably, not the choice of flooring in the bathroom and en suites, but they instead offer porcelain tiling of Italian design.
“These homes are finished to a high specification providing the ‘Wow’ factor of a house that you will want to show off to friends and family” says Sue Taylor, the representative for the real estate company behind the development, RPC Land and New Homes.
